In Q3 of 2018, I moved to Austin Texas after I was accepted into the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship program at Digital Creative Institute. Shortly after I arrived, I joined the SmartTouch Interactive team as an SEO Specialist to help manage and grow their SEO Department.
I worked full-time at SmartTouch while joining my DCI cohort weekly as we learned about and practiced different areas of the Digital Marketing landscape.
Process
My role at SmartTouch was a hybrid position that primarily covered Technical SEO, Content Marketing, & Digital Analytics.
One of the major projects I was tasked with was to drive Local SEO growth SEO for our real estate clients. We saw significant growth in GMB pages’ performance during my time at SmartTouch.
At DCI, we covered a breadth of different Digital Marketing specialties including but limited to: Digital Analytics, Paid Advertising, Marketing Automation, Content Marketing, & Web Development.
